Session-by-Session: variable rates

My rates are $95 for an 80 minute session for those whose income is under $95,000 or less a year, with a scale that slides up to $200 for higher income individuals. Written and computerized assessments are $20 each. Sessions may be held in person, by telephone or Skype.

Career Exploration and Career Change Package: standard fee for 7 sessions is $595; sliding scale upwards applies to all packages.

Sessions include quantitative and qualitative assessments of your values, personality, interests, strengths and preferred skills, including Myers Briggs, the Strong Interest Inventory, and Skill Scan, attention to your personal career story and emotional considerations, resources to explore options, tools for decision-making, assistance with charting a course and timeline to achieve your chosen goal, and a career change resume.

Job Search Package: standard fee for 7 sessions is $595

Sessions include assistance researching the marketplace and targeting one or several jobs, tailoring and polishing your resumes and social networking profiles, developing a marketing plan, in-person and internet social networking, responding to ads, working with recruiters, making the most of job fairs, developing and practicing verbal statements that represent you well, interview preparation and salary negotiation.

Outplacement: $3,000-$4,500, depending on services offered and duration of services.

Employers who downsize or terminate can purchase outplacement services to help a former employee find a new job. Services are similar to those provided by Lee Hecht Harrison.

Resume Revamp: $275

These days one resume won't do for all applications. I'll work closely with you and together we will tailor your current resume to highlight your most relevant skills and experience for one specific job application. In the process, I'll teach you a highly effective technique that you can use to present yourself well each time you apply.

Interview Preparation Package: $180

Two sessions of coaching on how to present yourself in the best possible way during telephone and in-person interviews. Coaching will include best practices in behavioral interviewing and dealing with group or multiple interviews.

Salary Negotiation Package: $180

Two sessions on when, what and how to negotiate.

Decision Making Package: $260

Three sessions to help you evaluate whether to stay in your current job or make a change. Methods of endeavoring to improve your current job can be discussed, as well as how to exit successfully if that is your preference.

Assertiveness training: $300

Three sessions in which you'll learn some practical ways of becoming more assertive. Includes assessment of and coaching on your conflict resolution style and skills.

Visualization and guided imagery for goal attainment: $250

Two sessions to learn techniques that sports stars including figure skaters, skiers and golfers have used for years, and apply them to enhancing your success in recovering from a job loss and finding new employment, or being more successful in overcoming challenges on-the-job. Includes CD.

Promotions and raises: $150

An intensive session of coaching on how best to prepare for and obtain a raise and/or promotion.

Work crisis assistance: $190

A two hour session and half hour follow-up to help you think clearly and develop a strategy to get through a crisis at work.

Senior transition package: $520

Environmentalists testing stream water

You may be at a point where you would like to leave your main career and move on to a part-time position, a new field, start your own business or volunteer service. Five to six sessions will include quantitative and qualitative assessments, development of options, decision-making tools, and a charted strategy for change.

Coaching for on-the-job success: $400/month for four telephone sessions and email follow-up

I can coach you in pinpointing goals and figuring out the best steps to overcoming emotional and other barriers, and developing strategies for success. Or, if you find you have recurring problems at work, you might like to try coaching to analyze what's really going on, and to develop and chart strategies for change.
